Moon Tonight
Moon tonight,
Beloved...
When twilight
Has gathered together
The ends
Of her soft robe
And the last bird-call
Has died.
Moon tonight---
Cool as a forgotten dream,
Dearer than lost twilights
Among trees where birds sing
No more.
